My students need chapter books ranging from Kindergarten to 4th grade reading levels (Judy Moody,Magic Tree House, Katie Woo) , leveled readers, and readers theater.
Our classroom is a Kindergarten classroom. We have many levels of learners in our room that range from a kindergarten beginning reader to a 4th grade reading level. We want to support all learners at any level and give them to opportunity for growth.
My students are very loving and compassionate about learning and helping the other students in our classroom.
Everyday they come into our classroom ready to learn as much as they can to be as successful as possible. They love to learn, laugh, and support their classmates in their learning process as well.
My Project
To support all levels of learning we have centers in our classroom everyday. We already have some leveled readers, but they really only support a kindergarten or first grade reading level. I would love to get these materials to continue to support my beginning readers, but I really would also love to challenge my higher readers as well. This will give them a better opportunity to continue learning in our classroom. This project will make a difference in my students lives, because we will have the materials we need to support all of my students needs, not just my students who are on a Kindergarten level.
My higher readers will feel motivated and will continue to grow and love learning. That is our goal.
