This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students come from a diverse population. My students are creative, thoughtful and full of questions! They absolutely love hands-on, active, engaging technology and learn better kinetically! They come to school each day ready to learn new things and excited to grow socially and academically.

Each of them has the potential to be the best that he or she can be.

As educators, it is our responsibility to meet our students where they are and elevate them to the next level.

My Project

Guided reading has significant beneficial effects on helping students develop reading skills. These resources will benefit students during guided reading instruction. Reading & Writing Instant Learning Centers will help students master word families, develop grammar skills, boost comprehension.

Students will have the chance to develops skills in word families, phonics, contractions, reading comprehension, verb tense, sequencing, writing sentences, capitalization and punctuation.

Sight Word String-Ups will reinforce spelling words in a fun hands on method. Students will be able to build essential vocabulary to improve their reading skills. The Chunks Word Building Game provides students with the tools to build words practicing using onsets and rimes.
