My students are awesome but need more support with reading. They have access to very few resources and limited help at home. I want them to be able to continue practice at home.
I want my students to feel safe and special in my classroom and try not to worry about problems at home.
I hope my classroom will help my students to realize they can be successful and have fun! I also want them to be able to share the excitement at home.
My Project
Reading A-Z will help students have more books at home without worrying if they are lost or damaged because they are printable. It will help students take home more books and they can practice reading anytime. I will use the leveled readers with them during guided reading. They will be used for reading, phonics, writing, and small group work.
The printable books can help advance students’ reading levels by taking them home to practice.
I think the more literate they have access to, the more excited they will become about reading.
I will be able to send multiple books at a time and they can be fiction or non-fiction and I can provide material that is at their interest level and reading level. I hope that having more materials will excite them to practice at home.
