My students are bright children who enjoy learning and have a desire to help others. They are math students in 8th grade who, even in this difficult time, are working hard, putting in effort, and continuing to learn and build their math skills.
My Project

The purpose of this project is so that I can purchase Maneuvering the Middle’s collection of 8th grade math notes, homework, and assessments.
I purchased our first two chapters of the year already, and have found that my students love filling out the guided notes together and being able to use them on their homework while they practice. Our other option is to work through the textbook - which, in my opinion, is not great at explaining the basics before jumping into difficult problems.
My experience with Maneuvering the Middle’s guided notes, homework, and assessment has made it clear that the best way to ensure students have their best opportunity to be successful this year is to purchase the rest of our units for the year.
