Help me give my students the opportunity to enhance their math learning through hands-on manipulatives and fun-filled centers as these Hot Dots, Power Pens, games, a whiteboard, task cards, and more will increase their daily math practices.
Those are the beautiful words I love to hear my 60 students say to me.
I have 60 students that face the challenge of learning mathematics using a variety of strategies. My students are eager to learn and want to explore the wonders of solving mathematical practices.
Guided math materials are needed to support and enhance their hands-on learning when solving different math challenges. My students come from low-income backgrounds. My students are very compassionate and eager to learn. All of my students are Hispanic and use English as a second language. They enjoy the center time but, unfortunately, we need a variety of manipulatives to enhance their math education. Guided math materials will aide the different math levels that my students have.
The guided math lesson rotations will fun and long-lasting learning experience in our class with the materials provided for success. The Hot Dot and Power Pen centers will focus and reinforce skills learned in class daily at a variety of learning levels. Students will also be able to have immediate corrections if incorrect which will provide an instant self-check for challenging skills. The Wooden 4 in a Row Game will be an ongoing center during guided math to explore skills such as skip counting,, multiplication and division. The center will provide ongoing fact fluency practice.
What student doesn't want to learn and have fun at the same time?
The guided math lessons will allow the teacher to focus on a small group to aide them through challenging skills. At the same time, students who are working independently in rotations will find learning fun and entertaining when using manipulatives that will aide their learning.
