My dance program needs 12 DVDs, including "Jose Limon: Three Modern Dance Classics", "Pure Barre: Ballet Dance and Pilates Fusion" and "Martha Graham - Dance On Film".

Our dance program is in a brand new performing and visual arts high school for inner city youth. We integrate the arts into all academic classrooms and give students the opportunity to experience all art forms.

Our school has no budget for supplies, we do not have any books, DVD's or catalogs in our library. It is an empty shell. Students are thirsty for these things and ask for them everyday.

These resources will be used for historical, cultural and contextual studies of dance for students who focus on that subject area. Our program does not have any funding, therefore we are trying to build materials to create a comprehensive learning experience in dance by connecting it to literacy, history, anatomy etc..

Your help will ensure that these students will go on to develop a career and college studies in the art of dance. It is their dream to achieve this goal. This is why they chose an arts integrated high school. With the proper education here they will have the knowledge and tools to make their dreams come true.
