Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
What I admire most about my students is their drive to be successful. They want to apply their learning to real world situations and find ways to incorporate their learning into jobs/ careers for their future. My students are passionate and driven and always want the opportunity to explore more experiences.
Children are the vision for the future.
As a teacher I want to help my students learn how to be successful through making mistakes and being successful, together with their peers and their experiences.
My Project
These materials will be treasures for these students. The project consists of acknowledging a growth mindset word that the individuals will focus on throughout 2020. They will create different projects that will be present in their every day life in order for them to be reminded of their goal.
Growth mindset and self reflection is important and can be taught in multiple ways.
In order for them to learn, they need a variety of motivation and drive to believe in themselves. With these projects, I am allowing learners to decide their own reflection process and to help encourage others in their every day life to do the same.
