Hello! This is my first year teaching with such a fun class. I have a a very, very creative class. All my students constantly have ideas bubbling out of them that I want to help provide outlets for them to bring ideas to life. Drawing and creating is something that is happening throughout the day. I am very open emotionally with my students which has created an encouraging family like environment in which they can explore. With all the bright and expressive personalities in my class, hands on learning is a must! This is when they are able to work together and learn to see different perspectives and respect others. I work at a STEM school in an area that these students do not have access at home to different STEM related creations and resources to explore. These students are the reason I come to work every day and I want to give the most I can possible.
My Project
All of my students are creative individuals who are actively looking for ways to create their bursting ideas or try new strategies. There can also be hard times in the scientific process in which my students feel uninspired that something did not go as planned, however with challenges that are given alongside free exploration they will become more comfortable with the idea of being uncomfortable in the midst of a challenge.
These bins will allow times to freely explore, have a problem to solve, learn to work with others as well as work through challenges.
I work at a STEM school in which my students are very interested in all topics STEM related. I want to be able to incorporate STEM into multiple subjects and multiple parts of the day, these bins have such great versatility to make that dream possible.
