This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Having the required resources and supplies on hand at the beginning of the new semester helps towards its success.

For Ms. Ahuja's high school kids, we are searching for snacks!

We put in a lot of effort and have a long day at school! Some of our high school students are unable to arrive by the time we serve breakfast, which is at 7:30. Our lunch break is at 12:30 and our older children get hungry. That implies we go more than four hours without eating! For us to study as much as possible, we need snacks to keep our stomachs full and our minds full of knowledge every early morning! Can you keep these hungry students focused? When my students approach me with those cute puppy eyes and ask, "Ms., do you have some snacks?" I want to be able to give them some.

I attempt to keep supplies in store because many kids are unable to buy the necessary supplies throughout the year, but I have run out!

We have also asked for some board games to give them a brain break and help them develop skills like problem-solving & critical thinking. Instead of letting students use their phones and stay in their worlds, I would like to offer them an alternative way of networking and communicating. They will socialize more and have more opportunities to practice social skills thanks to these board games.
