My Students

I teach some amazing young minds. Our school has a global education focus, which encourages students to learn about other cultures and challenge stereotypes. My third graders love to learn.

My students love to read, and one of their favorite times of day is independent reading time.

They are also excited mathematicians who like to learn and play new mathematical games. There are a wide range of educational levels in my classroom, but my students all work hard to learn every day.

My Project

I can't sit still for six hours per day, why do we expect children to? It is not developmentally appropriate for them to be stationary for so long nor is it comfortable and feasible. Some people, children and adults, need to self stimulate throughout the day; and, if that can help them learn better and be more focused, without distracting their peers, I should do everything in my power to help them.

I want the Bouncy Bands for Chairs to give my students the ability to bounce their feet on it when they need activity or movement, but are restricted due to their assignments.

And, these bands are all quiet, so they won't distract any of the other students.
