My students are a diverse set of learners from throughout Baltimore City who see our school as their favorite place to be. The students are 4 years old, excited to learn, and some in their very first school environment. The students are constantly learning new ideas and things, we are constantly changing our environment.
The students have a diverse set of ethnicity from all over the globe, have a range of socio-economic levels, and have curious, innovative, and creative personalities.
My Project
This project will allow my students access to updated technology and be able to use resources in small group and independent settings. These iPads will mostly be used to help the students create a digital portfolio as well as access fun learning materials during small groups based on their level. Students will also be able to use the iPads to access fun educational games and apps such as ABCmouse and Mastering Math. Students will also be able to create writing and other expressions of communication use the iPads. Currently, we do not have any desktop computers in our classroom for student use.
