My Students

My students are creative, thoughtful and full of energy! They come to school each day ready to try new things and take brave chances in order to grow both academically and socially.

Since my students have various academic abilities, hands-on, active engaging projects challenge them and help them grow.

They are sweet, hardworking and they desperately want to please. My kids are a joy to teach and an inspiration to me each and every day. Please help my Hawks grow and learn.

My Project

Kindergartners come into school excited and eager to learn, but are not used to sitting for an extended amount of time. Having flexible seating allows these kiddos to get their wiggles out while still being engaged in their learning. I’m hoping by allowing the children to choose their “best fit” seating they will be more successful learners and it will also help them be more in charge of their own learning.

A classroom library with a plethora of different age appropriate books is essential to create a love of reading.

Using these book bins will help catalog the different genres and create more of a library feel in the classroom.
