My students need a Powerpoint Presenter, pencil cap erasers, pencils, glue sticks, scissors, staplers, Post It Notes, a 6 compartment organizer, and pencil grips.
I teach at a school in a rural area of Kentucky. It is a small town where 100 percent of our students receive free breakfast and lunch. Our awesome staff provide a backpack program on the weekends and all sorts of jackets, school supplies, socks, and shoes during the week.
Despite hardships at home, my students come to school ready to learn and ready to be loved.
They are dreamers, thinkers, and hard workers. My students love coming to school everyday and see it as more than just a place for learning. I strive to create a classroom that feels like a safe place to ask questions, have discussions, and engage in creating goals for the future. With your help, I know I can achieve this for my magnificent students.
My Project
Fifth grade writing is certainly not easy, but my fifth graders work hard and try their best everyday! With class sizes and student needs growing constantly, my fifth graders need LOTS of different materials to help them be successful in the writing classroom.
My Writing Rockstars impress me with their masterpieces in my fifth grade classroom everyday.
These masterpieces require materials such as pencils, pencil cap erasers, and pencil grippers. In my classroom we also write creatively, make projects, play writing games, and use interactive PowerPoints and videos. This requires scissors, glue sticks, Post-It Notes, and a PowerPoint Presenter.
All of these resources give my students the opportunity to be confident and successful in my classroom!
