Help me give my students CHOICE in where they sit. Wobble stools allow my students to move their bodies in a safe and quiet way so their brains can focus on LEARNING!

My Students

MY STUDENTS ARE AMAZING!! I work in a high trauma and high poverty area with students who require many little extras to help them learn! We laugh and play and learn and exceed our goals daily! They love to come to school and work really hard. My class is full of diversity with several students requiring highly capable activities, several students with IEP accommodations, and several students who are English learners! I have the best class full of learners!

My Project

I put a lot of effort into creating exciting and fun lessons, but some of my students need a little extra care to help them focus. New research on the brain suggests kids learn better with movement and with choice in the classroom! These wobble chairs provide just that! Movement and choice in a safe way. I currently have one wobble chair we rotate because so many students love it. Having 6 more wobble chairs would provide my students a way to move their bodies while they grow their brains!
