My Students

I am the Computer Literacy Teacher at my school. I teach students from Kindergarten through 5th grade. I want to expose my students to more STEM/STEAM projects. My students are very inquisitive. They are very excited and have become better motivated and creative students who have shown leadership characteristics that need to be developed.

STEM/STEAM projects provide an engaging experience of teaching and learning that benefits the entire school and community.

It better prepares our students for a successful future.

My Project

The second, third, fourth and fifth grade students will benefit from this innovative and creative learning experience on how to grow vegetables as well as where our food comes. We will be able to video ourselves as we plant our very own vegetable garden, which will consist of tomatoes, cucumbers, and several heads of lettuce.

Students will be able to prepare for the future by learning how to speak to an audience, using complete sentences and correct English, and they will learn how to explain solutions to problems.

We will then prepare and enjoy eating a healthy salad that was grown by our students.
