This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are energetic, full of life, and they love to learn. They come from various backgrounds, ethnicities, and cultural experiences. Although they have distinctive qualities, one quality supersedes all differences. My students love learning, and they are always interested in learning new things. All my students eat free lunches and come from working class families. Some of my students participate in the Food Backpack program, where they take food home over the weekend. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My Project

This project was created to assist my students with learning in their educational style. My students like to move around while they are learning, and a classroom carpet will allow them to move freely in the classroom and feel comfortable while learning whether in a large group or working alone.

Group time is the favorite part of the day for my students and myself!

We love to take time at the beginning of the day to have our morning meeting. The primary goal of morning meetings is to give students a safe environment that: provides a sense of trust, allows all students to feel important, and encourages respectful learning.

Overall, this classroom carpet will be a great addition to our class. Thank you!!
