My Students

I have a class of fourteen little world changers that come from various backgrounds and ability levels. Everyday is an adventure as I teach in a self-contained third grade classroom. A majority of my students overcome challenges that they face from learning disabilities and intellectual disabilities and the rest of my students encourage me with their compassion, patience, and kindness as they rally around their classmates. I believe that these students will change the world with joy, perseverance, and kindness.

My Project

The Ron Clark Academy is a model school which utilizes and trains in groundbreaking techniques and strategies to be used in classrooms by educators all over the nation. My desire is to attend their two day training to learn as much as I can about engagement, differentiation, management, and education. I will take all that I learn and bring it back to my classroom and coworkers. I plan to spread their enthusiasm for education like wildfire; motivating my students and the staff members at my school to be the best that they can be. I desire to be the best educator I can be for my students and attending this training will help make that possible.
