Greenhouse Storage

My students need a heavy duty shelf for storing and organizing our greenhouse supplies during the summer and fall when we are not actively using it.

My Students

We often combine classes and team teach in our 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades. When we combine our classes, we have 45 students. Our students are very hardworking and eager to learn. Many come from very low income families with limited resources.

Our goal is to expose our students to resources and experiences they miss out on at home.

Our school is in a very small, rural area. We have limited exposure to many of life's experiences. This doesn't slow them down. They fully enjoy any and all projects we introduce.

My Project

Our school has incorporated project-based learning in our curriculum. The 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades obtained a grant to build a greenhouse as part of our project-based learning program. The greenhouse allows us to learn about math and science in a fun, hands-on way.

We need a heavy-duty shelf to store and organize our greenhouse supplies during the summer and fall when we are not actively using the greenhouse.

Our PTO is allowing us to share their storage shed, and a shelf will help us keep things organized and easy to get to.

We really enjoy working in our greenhouse.
