Green Screen Magic Alive! Making Virtual Reality an ACTUAL Reality!
My students need a really great green screen setup that allows them to express themselves throughout many projects, from Virtual Reality gallery showings to Green Screen video projects for their Genius Hour Passion projects!
The children I teach are an incredible group of Gifted and Talented students. I serve third, fourth, and fifth grade GIfted and Talented students across our district in a pullout program once a week.
My students are motivated, creative, and highly imaginative, and they learn with an intensity that is incredible to behold.
These immensely innovative student leaders work in grade level groups to create projects to share with a worldwide audience. They come to me to work collaboratively and individually to prepare projects that are both digital and hands-on in an environment where there are no limitations, no boundaries, and they are given directives that allow them to create to the greatest extent of their own abilities and imaginations.
My Project
These students have worked so hard all year on many projects that have made excellent use of our green walls for green screen recording. Those have worked "fine," but with the use of a real green screen and lighting, their projects will "come to life."
With so many of my students choosing to use a Green Screen for their Genius Hour projects, and it being such a huge part of their Talented and Gifted curriculum, they need a real professional quality setup to be able to use when they work in order to feel like they are creating projects that really are worth sharing with a worldwide audience.
They've used green screens for virtual reality, commercials, reports, and so many more things than you can possibly imagine, so it would be wonderful to have a photography studio setup for the students to use to feel as though they are professionals, especially when we are trying to prepare them to go out and make such extraordinary changes in the world.
