My Students

At TRHSS South, pride isn't just a word. These kids live by it. They give back to the community in performance and deeds. The music that they make keeps graduates coming back to concerts and events. In our school our choirs are classes and we only get a budget for the sheet music we sing. They rise to each challenge I give them the best way they know how to. They work exceptionally hard because of how proud they are to be musicians at South and I could not be more happy to help them become more than just a student in this world.

My Project

Hand Chimes in class? The kids are excited about and looking for these hand chimes to continue this project of what it means to be a great musician/student in life. This all started after seeing an incredible performance of the Westminster Choir College Bell Choir.

Teachers do one REALLY important thing.

They teach kids how to study something and analyze it. I want my students to really understand what it means to be a musician and how dedicated to being one can help EVERYTHING else you study. I want to help them learn what it means to analyze something and apply it to NEW experiences! These handbells are a part of that. This is something we never thought could be a reality. Can you help us?
