My students need 4 classroom guitars to further their musical learning, exposure and interaction in the music classroom.

"I've come up with the theory that the music is within. We don't bring it in; it's already there. We just have to figure out how to get it out." ~~Howard Roberts, Jazz Guitarist. Help us reach our full musical potentials with guitars in the Elementary Music classroom!
The students at our Michigan school absolutely love music!
They are bright, creative, eager to learn, and naturally musical. While all of our students are fortunate to get a quality music education (something which is becoming less and less common over time), the experience, joy and frustration of learning how to play an instrument is something many children do not get to experience. While we are very lucky to have a strings program starting in the 6th grade, most of my students are chomping at the bit to play an instrument way before that, and have shown a strong interest in the guitar. By starting beginner guitar in the 5th grade, my students will not only learn how to play, care for and respect the instrument, but they will develop a further passion for music that they will carry with them throughout their lives. Please help me give my students the answer they are looking for when they ask me, "Ms. R., can you teach us how to play the guitar?!" :)
The Lucero LC100 Classical guitar is a fabulous beginning instrument for all learners. The nylon strings are appropriate for children's fingers and the size is just right for older elementary students. Overall, it is a quality instrument that will help our students make some beautiful music! This guitar has received exceptional reviews and is known for durability (which ensures we will be able to enjoy them for many, many years to come!)
Your donation to our project will have a lasting affect on hundreds of students.
All students want to feel special and important, and donating these guitars to my classroom will show them just how many people care about their musical education. These guitars will be enjoyed by students year after year, helping them to learn patience, and exposing them to the many ways they are able to express themselves through music.
