My Students

We teach One Goal and Guidance student support skills at Snowden International High School in the guidance and student services which is within Boston Public Schools.

We are an underfunded urban, diverse international IB school, and a highly motivated group.

We promote travel and international cultural competence as a part of our students' educational process. Our students are at an economic disadvantage within Boston Public Schools in terms of supplies so we need some help- Thanks greatly for your support!

My Project

Our highly motivated students and faculty are in need of basic supplies including a Girl's Empowerment Group and Chess Club. We are starting a girls' group for those girls struggling with emotional regulation, organization, anxiety and academic performance. We are starting a Chess Club to help those students with social anxiety/and or visual processing deficits. We just need some writing journals and chess sets to get started! We will also be including Mancala and possibly other games. These are creative and non-stressful ways to address these girls who need our help and students with social anxiety. Thanks for any amount of giving!
