My classroom is filled with the happy giggles of energetic, fun-loving first graders who come to school eager to learn each day. Our school is in a small rural community in northeastern South Dakota. My students are active first graders who love exploring and learning new concepts and ideas at school.
My Project
Often, reading materials are geared to assist struggling readers make gains to help them reach grade level in reading. However, your donation will help purchase six copies of several different book titles to be used in guided reading groups with my above level readers.
These books will provide fun and interesting stories for my advanced students to enjoy while growing as readers!
They will provide age appropriate subjects for my advanced readers to enjoy while making predications, inferences, and discussing with classmates while continuing to learn and grow as readers.
