My Students

I am a new teacher at my school and I really need a book library in my classroom for my incredible students! So many of them are voracious readers.

Some of them just need access to books that will inspire them to read, dream and achieve.

I also need a set of headphones so that when my students need to use them for audible books they have access to a good pair of headphones.

My Project

Neil Pasricha's "The Book of Awesome" is an incredibly uplifting way to study creative writing and gratitude in this time of a pandemic.

Lessons will include gratitude, critical thinking, usage of specificity in writing and the universal themes of finding joy in the little things despite the pervading mental health issues of our time.

We need this book right now in our junior high. Learning to write in Neil Pasricha's model will be achievable by every student on every level. Thinking like Neil is imperative right now.

Having working headphones will allow our students to work at their own pace on this project and many projects to come.
