My Students
My students are some of the diverse scholars in my community. They are either in an advanced math class that is highly challenging or a rigorous class where math can be a challenge My students have the opportunity to build a future for themselves by being successful during their 7th-grade year. By being prepared and mentally available my students will be able to perform to their highest potential.
My Project
Students will be able to complete hands-on tasks created in class. Students will use the materials on the list to master math concepts pertaining to graphing and equations. Many of the manipulatives listed will be used on surface area projects. Since the new generation of teaching involves laptops and tablets, my students will need headphones. This will allow them to complete assignments while working independently. Pencils are scarce and erasers are hard to come by these days. Games are included because it will allow my students an opportunity to have enrichment time when they are caught up. Many of the items listed are classroom incentives that are always good tools to motivate my students. The wipe board will allow my student to use a visual manipulative when graphing. Students will need pencils and erasers to draw, write, and create projects using ideas from lessons. There are some items, like the mask and sanitizer, that can increase sanitation in the classroom. Students benefit from having the materials available in class, so your donations will be greatly appreciated. The items listed will increase my classroom expectations from basic performance to proficient performance. My students continue to benefits from the donations provided by the prospective donors and we are thankful for the opportunity to have resources needed in the classroom to make my students successful.
