This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am a high school computer graphics/ art teacher at a high risk school. My students come from backgrounds where they don't have technology that encourages them to create. The students in my computer graphics classes create many diverse products/artwork. We are creating products/art using mostly Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. Our major issue is, students are only able to use computer mice when illustrating on the computer. Using a computer mouse to draw greatly hinders your ability to create. Having access to a good Wacom tablet will enhance their ability to create immensely.
