This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students spend a lot of time in class reading independently. Many of them, though, are having a difficult time staying focused because some of the books that we have in our library are not very motivating. With your help, I would like to provide graphic novels that I know my students will be very involved in while reading.

These graphic novels come with illustrations that are fun and exciting.

The books are filled with words that the students are able to read. These books specifically are leveled to their reading abilities and will help them stay engaged while reading in class.
