My students come to school every day ready to learn and be challenged. My students live in a small rural community. My students are eager to learn and experience all that life has to offer.
The students at our school need to be motivated from within to be the best version of themselves and rise above every standard.
These students enjoy the time and attention they receive from their teachers and need the quality time and experiences in school to help them succeed in college, career, and life.
My Project
Graphic novels are always the most requested and checked out books in my classroom library. Even the most reluctant readers devour these books eagerly. These books will provide a larger collection of these novels for my classroom.
Students will have more opportunities to check these books out by providing them with more books.
The more books the more reading will increase. This will give so many more students the opportunity to engage in reading something that interests them. My students have been asking for more copies of Dog Man and different graphic novels than they have already been exposed to. The brand new Babysitter's Club graphic novels are the perfect answer for our classroom.
