My Students

Our middle school students come from diverse backgrounds and love to visit the school library. We are an urban school with many students who don't have books at home. Graphic novels, Hi/Low books, and LGBTQ books are the most requested books in our library this year.

Let's get library books into the hands of our students so they can continue to enjoy the love of reading.

Students are asking for these books and keep coming back for more. We need diverse books to be mirrors and windows for our students.

My Project

Our students are coming to the library asking for more graphic novels, LGBTQ, and Hi/Low books. These books will help fill the void that is missing from our school library. When we can offer them books they are interested in, that will spark a lifelong love of reading.

Some students will see themselves in these books.

Others will learn about people who aren't like them through these books. Please help us receive these new books. We love getting new books and are thankful for donors like you who will support us in our reading lives.
