This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

What do I love about my students? My students are inspirational, resilient and brave. Without them where would we all be? My students encourage and remind us all to take it one day at a time. I see their kindness daily. They always choose to put others first. They will go above and beyond for not only their friends but anyone they see in need. Most of their lives are difficult, but they don’t make it an excuse to give up. I adore every single one.

My Project

These materials will inspire creativity. They will also create a special escape and journey. Reading a book is a special gift. Students will visualize and read these novels. My students absolutely love graphic novels. It’s my most highly request and anticipated ask. My students learning outcomes will rise due to interest and intentional love for reading. Students will read at home, in the classroom and many favored places. Help my students have access to continue their educational needs. Students feel so special when they see new books. There’s nothing like getting lost in a book.
