Graphic Novels for a Classroom Library

Help me give my students a wide variety of graphic novels. These are the kinds of books that they are interested in.

My Students

I need to recreate the love for reading in the classroom. Many of my students have a hard time focusing. I want to bring in books that they will enjoy reading and gain their attention. We are a low-income city without a working library. These students have not seen a library in two years. I would like to create a bigger library in my classroom that has a wide range of topics.

My Project

The graphic novels will help bring the students back into the world of reading for pleasure. After the last two years, many of the students did not enjoy school and have a hard time coping. I want to have something they can do for enjoying. Our school library has been shut down for the last two years and the students do not have many choices to choose from in my classroom. Graphic novels are books that they can enjoy without pressure. I feel the students will dive into the books' adventures and enjoy the stories.
