My Students

I want to give them opportunities and educate them to the best of my abilities.

I have a great group of students; many are low income and don't always live with their parents.

Despite so many hardships, my students are eager to learn and do their best. They want to be in school because they want to learn all they can so they can be successful one day.

Having my students be able to use graphing calculators is a great asset to them when they are college bound.

My students would really appreciate the donated graphing calculators and will take care of them. 

My Project

We will use the graphing calculators almost every day in class. They will give them hands-on results. I will be able to do more activities and they can better understand the transformations of a graph.

Having a calculator for each student will be useful and I can't say how appreciative they will be. My students deserve the opportunity to use technology just like the other school districts.

I want them to be college ready and learn how to use the calculators so that is one less thing they have to worry about.

Our classrooms are not yet at the level technologically to meet their needs as learners. This grant will help to close that gap just a little bit more.
