Help me give my students more ways to use dry erase pockets, markers, and other materials to save paper! My students love using whiteboards, but we found out the hard way that trying to do graphing on regular boards is hard!
The students at school love when we do hands-on learning. When they get to use things other than traditional paper/pencil, they are more excited about learning. The school has been implementing more cooperative/collaborative learning practices so that students learn from and help each other while creating social skills needed to work with others in their future!
My Project
When trying to use regular whiteboards with graphing, it becomes very difficult. With the graph boards, it makes things go quicker and easier for the students. Also, with different color markers for different members of groups, it helps show who did which work, as well as which answer belongs to which student. The boards and pocket sleeves will also help cut down on the amount of paper that is needed to make all the copies that are needed to do our work daily. The erasers are also to help distinguish (by color) which eraser belongs to who, and to make it easier to keep track of the materials. These items will help students practice new learning, and when we use whiteboards, there is so much more participation than by just using paper/pencil.
