Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students love coming to school as shown by our high attendance rate, so many say they miss school when we are on vacation and with this sudden school closure many are struggling. 92% of our students come from low income homes and don't get to take part in all the fun activities other kids with more means tend to do during their time at home. It's through school efforts that our kids get to see the world because we open the doors to theatre, science, art and so much more!

would love to bring a world of excitement and wonder to my students through awesome videos that will transport them to different lands!

my vision is to do this by filming videos using Green Screen technology!

My Project

I cannot wait to make amazing videos on social emotional learning, and college and careers for my students since my school has closed for the school year! These videos could be even more amazing if I had a super rad green screen kit to transport kids to magical locations with cool special effects ! Over 90% of my students live in poverty, help them experience magic and feel joy and excitement as they watch the videos I create for them. One of the plans I have is to read books about different careers (Doctors! Nurses! Grocery Store Workers!) so that students learn how we all can make a difference in this world!- I would love to make the background of each video be a video of the career in action or the setting of that career!
