My students are so alive! They care deeply about everything that happens at school and home. We celebrate diversity with open arms. My students are awesome and they are filled with amazing energy, kindness and enthusiasm. They work hard and are natural learners with keen powers of observation.
I am amazed at how different my students are!
Every single one of my students has integrity and a positive attitude. My goal is to educate, cultivate and inspire all of my students academically and physically.
We are still recovering from Hurricane Harvey and looking forward to a bright school year and future. Our community is stronger with pride after Hurricane Harvey.
My students need individual workbooks to improve their grammar skills. As they continue to grow older, there are higher expectations for my students and they are struggling to keep up.
Lumos Learning Grammar will build a solid foundation for learning new skills that will merge in all academic learning.
My students will each have a copy of a grammar and writing text book. Having their own book, will enable them to access the learning material wherever they may find themselves. Students will also share information from texts that will stimulate classroom discussion.
The daily lessons integrate all the fourth grade language arts skills: grammar, creative writing, composition, spelling, higher-order reasoning and study skills.
In addition, each lesson will cater to the unique strengths and linguistic needs of these learners in ways that can make learning fun.
Grammar is the key to success in learning a new language and I want to create students who are as passionate about the subject as I am.
