Help me give my students the means to display all they have achieved as they graduate this year. Shadow boxes offer a beautiful way to highlight their achievements.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My CSF (California Scholarship Federation) senior students are among the most dedicated I have seen in my career. They have worked hard to contribute to our school, community, and the arts. As members of our highest honor society on campus, they have striven to maintain high grades while serving others and improving themselves.
My Project
My group of high achieving graduating seniors really have it tough right now. The banquet meant to celebrate these hardworking scholars, the banquet they had been anticipating for years, had to be cancelled due to COVID-19.
These graduating seniors deserve recognition for all they have achieved.
What better way to highlight and remember what they have accomplished than creating beautiful shadow boxes that hold their memories and regalia? It will be something they can look to proudly, and know they were recognized for what they achieved. They need to know their accomplishments will not be forgotten in the midst of this crisis.
Using these materials, which will be delivered to them, they will design and build this memento, and reflect on all they have learned in high school.
