My Students

My students are hardworking children. They love doing things with their brains and love working with their hands. Children are like sponges and will soak up everything that they are given the opportunity to! They are living in an area where these opportunities are not always available.

Over fifty percent of the students at the school live below the poverty level.

They need to have lots of chances to show what they know and are able to do and feel successful!

My Project

Children need to be exposed to lots of STEM activities. They have lots of ideas on how to help fix problems that they see, but they need to be given this opportunity more often. These STEM kits will help the children have more opportunities to collaborate on problems that need to be solved. It will be great to set up the classroom with lots of centers that the children will be able to go to to work!

My little engineers are going to be so proud of themselves when they Ask, Imagine, Plan, Create and Improve!

I can't wait to watch them work!
