My Students

Do you remember the first time you put on an official uniform with a number on it? I do! I loved having that number represent the hard work I had put in and was ecstatic that I was part of team. My students need these uniforms and equipment to have that same feeling.

These are some of the most exciting and fun kids to be around on a daily basis.

They are so different when out of the classroom. They enjoy playing sports, being competitive, and having a good time. These are a diverse group of middle school students in Chicago in a very diverse and welcoming neighborhood.

My Project

Equipment doesn't last forever. Unfortunately we just do not have the funds to continually purchase new equipment. I was able to start a 2nd team last year and they do not have any uniforms nor equipment. We have a supportive administration, staff, and school community and our school continues to grow and achieve success. We need 25 new jerseys and 12 new flags for our teams. You can help us continue that growth and success!

I loved playing sports growing up.

Since I can no longer play, coaching is the best choice for me. I love seeing the kids success and I enjoy helping them when they fail. They need this equipment as a first step to feel like champions. Dressing as a team and looking good build confidence.
