My Students

Every day I am amazed to see the happy faces of each student as they enter our school. They are full of optimism and ready to learn. Our Title One school is located near Lake Huron. Each day brings new challenges and successes.

Our student community is comprised of kindergarten through fourth grade students in a small rural Michigan town.

We are committed to educating the whole child. Every student is given a healthy breakfast to start off the day. This time also provides the teachers opportunities to greet and catch up with students in the morning.

Our students are always willing to try and do their best. As a staff, we try our best to encourage this life-long skill.

My Project

Who doesn't like to be comfy as they read a great book? Students can find sitting in the same spot monotonous. This can be challenging for adults, not to mention energetic kids. These fold-n-go seats are the perfect option for students to move around the classroom and read in a cozy spot.

Student choice is vital in student learning.

These fold-n-go chairs provide students with a opportunity to move with the classroom to a quiet environment and get lost in a good book. Flexible seating increases reading stamina and makes reading fun. With your contribution, my students will have a comfortable and fun way to learn. Please help me bring flexible seating to my third grade classroom.
