My students need four digital signage displays and video wall controller to experience routing, display, and distribution of video signals to experience hands on the theory they're learning in a consumer marketing course.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Coming together from every walk of life, students at my school come from a huge array of socioeconomic backgrounds from all over one of the larger cities in California. Our school boasts busing from around the district, and many of the students (and indeed the school itself) are located in one of the poorest and most polluted zip codes in the country.
One of the greatest gifts we can give each student is the ability to learn and acquire skills that will not only help them achieve their goals, but also to know enough to be able to dream big lofty goals and realize they have what it takes to accomplish their goals and dreams.
Families are encouraged in the learning process as well; our district offers parent classes regularly in the area, as well as provides a medical clinic within walking distance from the school. Additionally, all students receive free meals, and receive the opportunity to participate in extra curricular clubs and tutoring after school daily. Our school truly provides numerous opportunities for all students to succeed!
My Project
Students in my graphic production course are learning psychology behind consumer behavior as it relates to marketing. Students will use the equipment provided in this project to manage a video wall of 4 displays and associated controller. They will track student engagement in school activities based upon targeted ads they create for display to the student body, and analyze that data to create hypotheses for consumer motivation as it relates to getting involved in school clubs, events, athletic, and academic competitions.
This Smart LED TV and equipment will help students across the school gain access to involvement opportunities, and will afford the entire student body with up to date knowledge of school activities and ways to feel connected, with a goal of increasing student engagement and student emotional well-being.
The real focus on this project will be on the behind-the-scenes data collection process, student analysis of data, and going deep with the psychology of marketing. Thank you for your support.
