My students are energetic, loving, kind children from very diverse backgrounds and cultures.
My children want to succeed and providing them with classroom materials that meet their diverse needs, will give them the opportunity to thrive academically.
Our school has a high percentage of children who receive free or reduced-price lunches. We serve many children from the Lumi Tribe, and within my classroom, there is a wonderfully diverse culture that enriches our learning environment. My school has an awesome team of teachers who care deeply for our children and work together as a team!
My Project
Teachers Pay Teachers has created so many engaging interactive resources for teachers to easily use in their actual classroom or their Google classroom. During these unusual times, I need to be prepared for both in class learning and virtual learning and Teachers Pay Teachers have numerous engaging math, reading and writing resources to make this happen.
The most important work of a teacher is making sure students are engaged in the learning process and having engaging hands-on creative Teacher Pay Teacher resources will accomplish this goal.
The math resources will allow my students to easily engage in math work that is hands-on and easy for them to use on the computer or in person learning. The digital math resources will allow me to create math centers online for students to practice needed skills in algebraic thinking, measurement and data and number sense. This will also allow me immediate access to student work, so I can monitor students ability to successfully use a math strategy to solve a math problem.
The write and wipe magnetic white board will give me a large surface to model writing and save on buying the large chart paper. The large magnetic white board will allow me to model writing skills that the whole class can easily see and follow along.
