Got Photo Story, got Movie Maker, got Power Point, but got memory? Not enough! I am a 5th grade teacher who teaches all subjects allowing for much cross-curricular activities. I am in a co-taught class with a special ed teacher in a K-5 building. My students love to use Photo Story, Power Point, and Movie Maker to show their knowledge in creative ways. However our district has limits on each school's allotted memory space. Many projects take up a lot of memory. With flash drives, fifth graders can save their work and share it with the rest of the class and not risk being short of memory space on the computers. At the end of the year, CDs could be burned for students to take home. The files on the flash drives could be erased, ready for the next year's students. Your help will allow more excitement and enthusiasm in the process of learning. I have no doubt that the amount of learning will be greater as well.
