My Students

My students are determined, energetic learners with a passion to explore and grow. Despite the hardships they face, my students walk into the classroom each day with big smiles ready to learn!

My school is an inner-city school with 100% of students receiving free breakfast and lunch.

Many students live in poverty, struggle with the English language and have extremely limited resources. Some of my students are homeless or in foster care. Others are new to the country, while some live with a caretaker other than their parent.

My Project

I am asking for printer ink cartridges so I’m able to print pictures in color. The color pictures will make my student’s learning more realistic and help develop their vocabulary. The ink cartridges will be used in all areas of the curriculum. It will provide activities for the students who need a challenge and students who may be struggling. When students finish a writing assignment, they will be able to type their stories on the computer and print the stories out to display in our classroom.
