My Students

My students need to protect their eyes! The goggles we currently have are so old they are yellowing and brittle. We can't do lab activities without proper eye protection. Help my students be able to safely do labs!

My students want to apply information they are learning through lab activities as well as perform scientific inquiries to test their hypothesis about new concepts.

We are largely a low income school comprised of students who do not have the financial means to be provided with educational opportunities outside of the school day. Our students learn by doing, and science labs are a critical part of their biology and chemistry experience.

My Project

With new goggles we will be able to participate in many science labs that we currently can not, due to safety concerns. The students will be able to "see" the science instead of just reading about it! Students can experience chemical and physical changes first hand, as well as explore concepts such as density, cellular respiration, cell division, and many others!

Please help my students experience science up close!

These pieces of eye protection mean the difference between written work and hands on exploration. These goggles and glasses will help my 185 students this year participate in labs- as well as many more students in the following years!
