Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My fifth grade class is made up of motivated, responsible students from a high need community.
Coming from a low socioeconomic area in N. Hollywood, many of my students lack the resources, in the classroom and at home, to help them master grade level academic standards.
These educational games are a wonderful way for my students to work with and master academic content standards after the lesson has been taught. They will be used during Independent Work Time as a center that the students who are struggling in a particular area can play with a friend who is also struggling in that area. Games are also great for those rainy recess and lunch days.
