Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
The students at our school are very serious about their education! They love to face a challenge and actively participate in their classes. We have very bright minds that come to school ready to learn in order to succeed in the future.
In spite of attending a Title I school where 100% of students receive free lunch, they are very motivated to learn.
My students are very creative and love attending school. So far the attendance in our classroom is great. Our students come to school because they feel like they are at home. They have the passion for succeeding and impressing if given the chance. Most of the time, all they need is a little support to achieve their dreams.
My Project
My student's work really hard in the classroom. Time outside to socialize and play with their friends is necessary. When we go outside they all play soccer together. It's nice to see them all get along, playing as a team, and supporting each other outside of the classroom.
Unfortunately, we do not have soccer balls or goals outside so they can play a real game with their friends.
We have to borrow soccer balls from other classrooms or from the gym. At times my students bring baseballs or tennis balls from home to play soccer. It would be such a great gift to see them play soccer with the needed equipment to do so.
