Each day is a new fun-filled day in our 3rd grade classroom. Not one day is the same as the last, just as not one child is the same as the next. I believe everyone has a different way of learning, and I love to provide my students with many different tools and resources so they can be successful.
Third grade students are eager to learn new things.
Each student has a learning style that I strive to incorporate in a fun, creative way. Our public school serves a wide range of socioeconomic backgrounds. We have a large population of military families and have many parents currently deployed. We are one of the best schools in our district and continue to strive for excellence daily.
My Project
I am requesting 2 Chromebooks for my students to use on a daily basis. These Chromebooks will allow my students to conduct research for Science topics, create Google slide presentations, and work on math fact practice and/or problems. They will access Google Classroom daily for independent assignments that are assigned to them individually based on their level. The students will be able to interact with the other students in the classroom and create discussions about the skills are we learning. These Chromebooks will be a great addition to allow them to complete these tasks at their desk independently at their own pace.
