My Students

Imagine a classroom where students enter daily knowing some of the best enriching, deep thinking, and rich materials they will see all year is what is inside those four walls of a school classroom.

For many of these kids to have deep thinking, rich, and resourceful information, they are only going to see this within my classroom for the year.

I strive to make everything top notch for these kids and for them to know the sky is the limit, and together we will reach it.

My Project

Remember being able to use technology when you were in school? How it was the best little bit of your day when you were able to use technology? Now kids have so much technology available, but so many mandates on what the in class computers must be used for, thus meaning every available minute being taken up for a district funded intervention.

My fourth graders beg to learn the proper way to type, the only issue is the in class computers are always in use for mandated requirements.

Being able to have a couple additional Chromebooks available will help open more opportunities for students to learn proper typing skills, as well as being able to research STEM opportunities as we work towards being an acknowledged STEM school by the state of Indiana.
