We need a chromebook so I can modify my lessons to the format they will be using. All of my lessons are made with Microsoft product which do not transfer well.
I teach senior students. Most of them will be college bound. Of those college bound the majority will start at a junior college. It is really important that they can navigate the internet to be successful in all aspects of their world. The better my lessons are prepared the more successful they will be. All of my lessons will be navigated through Google Classroom, which is like the platforms used by colleges. I will help them to prepare for the TSI test in Texas and assist them to complete their college entrance materials.
I teach a senior math class. One of the emphasis of the class is to prepare them for their next step no matter what that is. I rely heavily on technology to teach them skills for being successful in the real world. They work in groups and individually to find solutions to math problems, create presentations, and share the results. I do not have enough chromebooks for all the students and myself.

Our goal is to prepare the so that we are ready to succeed in the real world, whether that is to buy a car, find a job, or go to college. We will learn how to use the tools provided on the internet so we can succeed with our dreams. We don't have enough chromebooks for all of us to use one and the teacher at the same time.
The teacher will use the chromebook to create better lessons for our classroom. They will be more in depth and easier to understand. When she modifies the original activity, it will look the way it was intended to look not the way it looks on a desktop computer. Google and Windows do not play well together. That will enable us to better prepare our materials so our applications look the best.
The project will help to better prepare us for the world. We will have access to a chromebook at home and school. The lessons created using the chromebook will make it easier for my us to learn from the life long lessons. This will encourage us to further ourselves within the communities. All of the lessons now are created with Windows which is not compatible with the format on a chromebook.
