My Students
I have a wonderful first grade class this year. They are outgoing, kind, and generous. The class is excited about learning and would like to show the world what they can do. Students will be completing projects that take them around the world virtually.
As a first grade student, each child needs to understand their place in the world.
Although many of my families are from other countries, each student's understanding is limited to the area where they live. By exploring cultures online, my students can gain a ​better understanding of the cultures that surround us.
My Project
This new project will support our current smart board learning. Using the new BenQ Jamboard Rolling Stand cart and pens will allow more students access to our new Google Jamboard. As a class, students can create interactive writing projects with beautiful illustrations and shared writing activities. We will also be able to have live interactive projects with pen-pals from all over. By using the new pencils, students can be more involved in creating their exciting projects themselves. The cart will give flexibility of location in our classroom for these activities. We can take the Jamboard anywhere in the classroom for a more flexible learning environment.
